John Pollard, Owner

John has been in the entertainment industry since purchasing his first drum set and playing nightclubs in Arlington and Fort Worth as a teenager. Passionate about music, entertaining crowds and keeping the dance floor full and guests smiling; John’s commitment to client satisfaction is unrivaled.

In 2006, John opened the Glass Cactus Nightclub at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Hotel in Grapevine. Billboard Magazine recognized the 39,000 square foot venue with state-of-the-art sound stage as one of the Top 25 Nightclubs in North America (August 2012).

Celebrating 30 years in the business, FX Entertainment has hosted numerous high profile events in the Metroplex. Most notably the World Series After-Parties for the Texas Rangers, Grand Opening of Jade Waters at the Anatole Hotel Dallas, Cook Children’s Hospital Prom, Indulge Magazine’s Porsche Preview Party and countless.

John is an expert event consultant and meets with every client personally in order to help plan the perfect event. A great choice for any event, John is a proven commodity.
